Close enough to downtown Put in Bay to be there in minutes,

Far enough out of town to enjoy the peace and quiet of the island.

Don't just visit the island, feel as though you're at your own lake house, and stay with us at The Yellow Tree B&B. The property is surrounded by the Jane Coats Wild Flower Trail (click here for link) which meanders through the island woods full of migratory birds and beautiful native flowers.  Walk, rent a bike from us for $5 per stay, or grab a $3 taxi into town for some live entertainment and crowds, or lounge around the property and peruse our personal library, while relaxing on the hammock. You will feel right at home when you take advantage of our wide range of amenities at our beautiful Put in Bay bed and breakfast.

A few things to note about us, we are not your traditional B&B.

We offer convenience and relaxation with our self-check-in policy. This means we are not always at the house. We are available if necessary, but for the most part you're on island time and so are we. Make yourself at home.

Our breakfast room is open at anytime for our guests to help themselves. We offer a light fare including breads, spreads, juice, fruit, and coffee. If you need a suggestion for a fantastic hot breakfast in town, we have a few favorites in mind.

We are surrounded on three sides by the woods and in a corner of the island where cell service is not the strongest. However, we are happy with our wifi service and recommend wifi-calling during your stay. We also have a house phone available for local calls.

Our home is an older home that we are continuing to update and improve. Each room has it's own split-unit Mitsubishi on the wall for your cooling and heating comfort.

We have a part-time summer guest staying in the back building. She is a hound mix named Emery and is very friendly. She likes to jump when she gives kisses. Emery is not allowed in the house.

Yellow Tree is an ongoing and ever-changing project for us. We love it and hope you do to.

Welcome to the neighborhood!
